Activity: The class teacher may divide the students into groups and choose some of the following topics for discussion: (Page no – 204)

1. Safety of industrial and construction workers

Ans:

Ganesh: Hai John

John: Good morning. Today we are going discuss about Safety for workers in their work place.

Ganesh: Are you invite any members for this group discussion?

John: Yes, I invited you colleagues Sinu and Ravi.

Sinu: Hello John, Good morning.

Ravi: Let we start discuss on Industrial safety.

John: What do you think about the basis for safety in work place?

Ravi: There should be alarm sound if anything goes wrong.

John: The workers should be properly insured.

Ganesh: Yes, I agree. The industrial and construction workers should take a policy for their well-being.

John: Thank you all. Let we mention this to our management to take necessary action.

 

2. Making healthcare available to all

Ans:

Jenni: Good morning, Devi. Let we discuss about the importance of Healthcare.

Devi: Yes, We can. Healthcare is a must for all age groups.

Kala: For the children it is essential to put vaccine on proper time.

Jenni: Young people also wants to follow the medical advice with regular exercise.

Devi: If we intake high nutritious foods, it will develop our immunity power.

Kala: Old age peoples must take care of their health.

Jenni: Let us spread health care awareness to all.

 

3. Using renewable energy to reduce pollution

Ans:

Malar: Renewable and green energy are focused on the source (fuel) that generates the energy.

Priya: Renewable energy provides an essentially limitless source of power and gives us cleaner air.

Malar: Renewable energy technologies could be deployed.

Priya: But there are many barriers hamper the widespread deployment of renewable energy.

Malar: can you explain about it.

Priya: Providing advice to developing country governments on policies that create a more favorable environment for renewable energy.

Malar: Yes, nowadays our government create strict policies to protect our environment.

Priya: Working with the finance sector to encourage investment by lowering risks for renewable energy projects. 

Malar: India is one of the leading countries, in financing on renewable energy projects.

Priya: By maximizing the use renewable energy we can reduce pollution and keep our environment clean and safe.
